Roscoe Brown, Inc. offers replacement filters for anyone’s air-conditioning and heating system. We have a very large inventory of standard, custom and special filters. If the filter you want is not in stock any size or style can be ordered for direct shipment to your home or business. Ordering is simple. You can stop by the store, call or use email.

The primary function for a filter is to protect the most valuable piece of equipment in your home: your air conditioner. At the same time the filter is preventing particulates from reaching the cooling coil it should not restrict the airflow. In most cases the higher the efficiency the more restrictive the filter is to the airflow. Reduced airflow can create uncomfortable places in the home and damage the air conditioner. That is why the more efficient filters offered by Roscoe Brown, Inc. are pleated. The pleating increases the surface area that reduces the resistance while offering improved filtration efficiency protecting you and your air conditioning system.

Roscoe Brown, Inc. has the basic spun bond furnace filter. But think of it this way; any filter where you can see your hand through it is not doing a very good job protecting you or your system. A better selection is a MERV 4, MERV 8 or MERV 11 filter. There are even HEPA filter units in stock that have an integral fan to improve the quality of air in the whole house. Any style commercial filter is also available and a scheduled replacement service can be provided for your office or factory.

As little as a 0.05 inch build up of sticky dirty substances on the cooling coil can cut efficiencies up to 32% - raising your utility bill, for that unit, at least one-third. Wouldn’t it be better for you to have a filter that will remove pollen, household dust and a high level of bacteria while protecting the equipment?
