It's by far the largest energy user in your home -- heating and air conditioning. So when you're faced with choosing a heat-and-air unit for your home, it will affect your budget for years to come.
Options Available:
Middle Tennessee Electric and Murfreesboro Electric thru the Tennessee Valley Authority can help you finance a new heat pump (minimum 13 SEER package or 13 SEER split with HSPF 7.7 or higher rating) with a 8% loan up to $10,000. The loan can have up to a 10-year term with no penalty for early payoff.
To qualify for the TVA Heat Pump Program, applicants must be the owner of the home and property where the heat pump is to be located and pass an independent credit review.
Contact your local utility company at any area office to fill out an application over the phone or in person. If approved for the loan, contact your Roscoe Brown, Inc. salesman for the installation of your heat pump. For more information, visit: www.energyright.com
